Nagpur: Morality has a special place in Buddha Dhamma. On the strength of this morality, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar started the movement and made many movements successful. Recognizing the importance of ethics, the first class in the weekly program he gave in the Constitution of Samata Sainik Dal was on Morality. Therefore, veteran Samata Sainik Harish Chahande asserted that morality is the foundation of the Ambedkarite movement. He was speaking at the The senior Ambedkari thinker L. R. Balley memorial meeting.
On behalf of All India Samata Sainik Dal (Reg.) Nagpur district was organized Ambedkarite thinker L.R. Balley memorial meeting, under the chairmanship of district president Kantilal Bhange, the program of tribute meeting was organized in Dr. Ambedkar Cultural Hall Nagpur.
All India Samata Sainik Dal Vice President Ramrao Javale, Ex. President Harish Chahande, General Secretary Ashok Shende, Treasurer J. E. Shende, Office Secretary Pragyakar Chandankhede, Maharashtra Women wing Chief Ujwala Uke, Bhadanta Dhammasarathy Mahathero and other dignitaries were present.
General Secretary of the organization Ashok Shende said, Although Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was born in Mahu (Madhya Pradesh), he considered Maharashtra as his karmic land and especially loved the city of Nagpur, so he took initiation & embarassed Buddhism in this city. But after the death of Babasaheb Ambedkar, the Ambedkarite movement from Nagpur city got lost. Today the governance of the country is being run from Nagpur. On the one hand, there is a Stupa like Diksha Bhoomi that conveys the message of peace, while in the same city, there is an office of an unregistered organization that sows the seeds of dirty politics in the country and holds the country’s leadership in their hands. This is a very sad matter. All the organizations working in the name of Babasaheb Ambedkar need to work together. All India Samata Sainik Dal will definitely take initiative for this. And this is An Ambedkari thinker L.R. Balley like will be a true tribute.
President of the program Kantilal Bhange said that, Samata Sainik Dal is taking the initiative to create a wise citizen as expected by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Therefore, the youth of every household must become a soldier of Samata Sainik Dal that it will be a true tribute to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and Late L. R. Balley who took the axis of his movement forward on his shoulders.
Bhadanta Dhammasarathy Mahathero, Amit Indurkar, Vinayakrao Jamgade, Ranjana Wase, Ujwala Uke, former IAS Officer Kishore Gajbhiye, Takshak Chahande, Prashik Anand, Sunil Sariputta, Nanaji Gaikwad, Karunakar Uke also expressed their condolences in the program. A large number of Samata soldiers and citizens of the city were present in the tribute program. The program was moderated by Rahul Somkuvar and introduced by Pragyakar Chandankhede. Sanjay Durugkar thanked the attendees.
